The rejuvination of Hastings is being led by the development of the new Sussex Coast College. The college needed a website that would match the £97m state-of-the-art campus. QLUE were chosen by Sussex Coast College after a robust tender process and worked with the marketing for three months on phase I of the website. The first phase was launched successfully in September 2009 and allowed the team to focus on the sophisticated user experience planned for Phase II.
Simple, Sophisticated User Experience
QLUE and SCCH worked in a highly collaborative process over the following three months, developing a concise, easy to follow interface that would deliver course details to users based on dynamic search filters. Potential students could select courses of interest and follow a full, online application with their chosen courses.
Successful delivery of the new website in January 2010 was followed by a lengthy PR campaign and a series of Open Days at the new campus. Online and real world results are being closely monitored...
