Proactive Development

What we did

Proactive Development, based in Kent, have provided a unique service to local authorities in the South East for over a decade. They provide a specialist learning disability service characterised by small, person-centred homes developed to maximise people’s independence and promote good citizenship. Their core values define and enthusiasm for their business inspired QLUE to define a brand and an online message that matched up to the people and the company.

A brand was created to capture the core values of Proactive Development - one that would stand up both online and in print. From here we looked at the design and build of the website featuring a series of simple images focussing on the "outward bounds" nature of much of Proactive's programmes.

The results

The site went live in September 2008 and we are closely monitoring the amount of online traffic and the source. It is hoped that the website can provide an insight, through in-depth articles, into the great work going on in this area and provide a focal point for like minded organisations to communicate.
