K-College

K College, the new "super college" with 5 major campuses across Kent, was formed in 2010 from the merger of West Kent College and South Kent College. Qlue were asked to work with K College in developing a Joomla website that integrated internal course data with a clear interface and bold new brand.

We developed a number of custom built features in collaboration with the college to improve the user experience for visitors to the Joomla website and to integrate with K Colleges systems. The Joomla website integrates course data direct from QL and unitE and our unique Course Finder feature means students can find the courses they're interested in first time.

Qlue went on to produce a series of high quality videos which were distributed throughout the Joomla website. Analytics has since shown that the inclusion of these videos has proved a highly effective way of engaging new students.
